Olivera started IT director position in NIS upon her return to Serbia in 2010. She lead a major IT transformation program, establishing a modern IT environment in countries where NIS operates (Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina). Her major expertize is IT and business engagement, for which her team was awarded in 2016 with Bronze Winner medal by SAP in category of IT and business collaboration. Today, Olivera leads company-wide Digital Transformation program, focusing on change management and technology innovations.
Previously, Olivera spent 13 years in British American Tobacco, where she firstly had a role IT Manager South Eastern Europe. Upon successful completion of tobacco industry privatization across region, she moved to London, where she worked as Global IT Strategy and Planning Manager, and then as Global IT Innovation Manager. Her major duty was to ensure IT strategies and fully aligned with business objectives and that IT innovations are adopted timely and successfully.
Olivera graduated Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Electronics, University of Belgrade, and she constitutes her business education constantly, including trainings at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, MIT, Massachusetts, USA and INSEAD, Paris, France.
